The mission of the Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department is to create, protect and beautify a diverse parks and recreation system for the entire community so they can have meaningful recreation experiences that will enhance their quality of life.
Goals
To create, produce, maintain and preserve our parks, water, open spaces, facilities and downtown areas by monitoring conditions and implementing the best maintenance practices and techniques.
To provide positive recreation and sports opportunities in order to enrich each participant's physical, social, creative, cultural and intellectual health and development.
To construct, modify and create accessible parks, facilities and recreation programs so every member of the community can have a positive experience within our system.
To create a positive, safe and productive work and play environment for all participants and employees.
